In this episode of The Struggling Entrepreneur, we have an interview with Steven Groves of www.stevengroves.com, who has a professional website at www.executiveconversationsinrealestate.com.

There are 3 major areas of focus in this discussion:

1. The November event in Phoenix, Arizona, called  the Arizona Entrepreneurship Conference. This is an event that had guest speaker Michael E. Gerber (author of The E-Myth Revisited book). Steven Groves is very involved in the coordination of this event.  The conference is sponsored by the Opportunity Through Entrepreneurship Foundation (OTEF).

2. Social Media and the perspective that Steven Groves  has in both professional and personal life–especially as it relates to community.

3. Successful Entrepreneurship in the Real Estate industry.

Note: This interview took place on 3 November 2007 at the Podcamp Arizona event. Although some of the content is dated because of the specific time frames of the event, the important thing to consider is that this event is an annual activity that takes place every autumn in Phoenix.

I thought you would find it interesting to understand the details of what the conference can bring to an entrepreneur, in case you may want to consider this for next year. I feel that there is value in the agenda that they had prepared for this conference.

For a look at Steven Groves’s’ summary of the event, you can  go to www.stevengroves.com and look at the post that is dated on 10 November 2007.

In this episode of the Struggling Entrepreneur, we focus on the entertainment industry by interviewing the 4 musicians that form Show Janitzio, a troubador group that plays all the genres of the music of Mexico.

This interview was conducted at Estela’s (a restaurant in San Antonio, Texas, USA) in a live, post-performance environment.

Show Janitzio

These musicians play any and all genres and styles of Mexican music. In particular, the preferred genre is that of the trio music (the Mexican romantic ballads of the 1950’s and 1960’s). They also play corridos, rancheras, polkas and other Mexican styles and genres, upon request–especially for the serenatas (serenades) and fiestas.

They currently have 7 CDs and distribute their own music, without a label. As entrepreneurs, they have become known in San Antonio, in all of Texas–and they have performed all over the United States and internationally.

Note: With permission from Show Janitzio,  you can listen to a song titled A La Mujer Que Yo Ame, from one of their CD albums Called Nomas Contigo (shown in the image, above).  Click here to listen to the song.
